On 11 September 2021, at 9 p.m., the artist collective Polisonum will present their sound performance Mouvement at the Kunst Halle Sankt Gallen as part of the Neustart Festival. The project is presented by OTO SOUND MUSEUM (curated by Francesca Ceccherini and Eleonora Stassi) in collaboration with Kunst Halle Sankt Gallen.
Mouvement was composed in 2018 and will be continued 2021 together with eight string players of the Sinfonieorchester St.Gallen.
The sound piece is a new interpretation of minuet k94 by W.A. Mozart. The original minuet is expanded in Mouvement to a duration of 248 years, exactly the time that separates us today from the day of the first performance. Random, musical movements emerge, contracting, expanding and reproducing an elusive, collective time.
Polisonum – Filippo Lilli (1987, IT), Donato Loforese (1984, IT) and Federico Peliti (1983, IT) – is an artistic research collective that uses sound as a method and instrument of investigation.
Admission wristbands are available at the official points of sale of the Neustart Festival.
