The juried exhibition «Heimspiel» (Home Match) which takes place every three years has become an important platform for the creation of regional contemporary art within the cantons of St. Gallen, Thurgau, Appenzell Ausserrhoden, Appenzell Innerrhoden, the Principality of Liechtenstein as well as Vorarlberg in Austria. Besides Kunst Halle Sankt Gallen and Kunstmuseum St. Gallen, this year Kunstmuseum Lichtenstein and Kunstraum Engländerbau in Vaduz are participating as new exhibition venues. Nextex in St. Gallen functions as a documentation centre for the artists' dossiers.
Among 450 submissions, the jury has chosen 76 artists, of which the following will present their works at Kunst Halle Sankt Gallen:
