Guided Tour

On September 13th 2015, we offer a public guided tour through the exhibition «تقيه (Taqiyya) – The Right to Duplicity» by Lawrence Abu Hamdan at 3 p.m., free of charge.

The works of Lawrence Abu Hamdan that are located at the interface of art and science look into the practice and the contemporary policy of listening. At Kunst Halle Sankt Gallen the artist examines by means of sound recordings, audio-visual installations and documentary material the legal role of the voice and the changing character of testimony in the context of new migration policies, border surveillance, intelligent algorithms and eavesdropping technology.

During each exhibition we offer on request also private guided tours (Costs: 120 CHF plus admission; outside regular opening times: 160 CHF plus admission. For school classes please check our special conditions. Contact us at: info@k9000.ch)

Tuesday to Friday: 12 p.m. – 6 p.m.
Saturday and Sunday: 11 a.m. – 5 p.m.
Closed on Mondays and certain public holidays
We are only open when we show exhibitions.

Accessibility

The Kunst Halle Sankt Gallen is almost free of barriers.
The main entrance is on Davidstrasse. It has stairs.
The accessible entrance is via the courtyard.
The entrance to the courtyard is at the corner of Geltenwilerstrasse and Davidstrasse.
There is a ramp (approx. 8% incline), and the path is paved.
Call us when you enter via the courtyard. We will open the door for you.

The restroom for wheelchair users is on the first floor. It is accessible for wheelchair users with accompanying persons.
