The Künstlerhaus Stuttgart visits the Kunsthalle St. Gallen

Curated by Ute Meta Bauer In recent years, exhibitions have increasingly developed into pure entertainment spectacles that are merely consumed in passing. Today, the work of a curator can no longer be limited to providing spaces for art and placing it therein. The artist's work does not end with the production of pure artifacts. Thus, the conception for «Nebenwerke und Ergänzungen» (engl.: «Subsidiary works and additions») is the result of a close collaboration between guest curator Ute Meta Bauer and the artist Andreas Coerper, whom she selected. The project reflects its own conditions by integrating the methodology of exhibiting.

Andreas Coerper (*1955, Düsseldorf/DE) is a German artist, author, director and documentary filmmaker.

Closed on Mondays and certain public holidays
We are only open when we show exhibitions.

Accessibility

The Kunst Halle Sankt Gallen is almost free of barriers.
The main entrance is on Davidstrasse. It has stairs.
The accessible entrance is via the courtyard.
The entrance to the courtyard is at the corner of Geltenwilerstrasse and Davidstrasse.
There is a ramp (approx. 8% incline), and the path is paved.
Call us when you enter via the courtyard. We will open the door for you.

The restroom for wheelchair users is on the first floor. It is accessible for wheelchair users with accompanying persons.
